T2 / T2Y2 Copper Core Advantages

Our cap copper and related end components are manufactured using high-purity industrial copper, possessing stable and consistent physical and chemical properties.

1. Electrical & Thermal Performance
T2Y2 copper exhibits excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, making it suitable as a core structural material for fuse copper, effectively reducing contact resistance and the risk of temperature rise.

2. Chemical Composition Stability

T2Y2 copper contains ≥ 99.95% copper and approximately 0.02% phosphorus (P).

T2 copper contains ≥ 99.90% copper and is phosphorus-free.

This compositional structure ensures a good balance between conductivity, formability, and weldability in the end cap copper.

3. Low Impurity Content
The extremely low impurity content in our copper end caps effectively prevents degradation of electrical and thermal conductivity caused by impurities, making them suitable for high-stability electrical systems.

4. Processing Considerations Pure copper may be at risk of hydrogen embrittlement in high-temperature reducing atmospheres (>370℃). Therefore, copper cap fittings are more suitable for annealing, welding, and brazing under controlled atmosphere conditions.
