The fog tin plating is applied to the copper end caps to provide specific characteristics:

Fog tin plating has a non-reflective or dull surface finish compared to the shiny appearance of regular tin plating. This can be desirable in certain applications where a non-reflective surface is preferred.

Like regular tin plating, matte tin plating offers corrosion resistance, protecting the copper end caps from degradation due to environmental factors.

Packing & shipping

Our tin-plated fuse caps are packaged with care and can be stored for up to one year from the date indicated on the packing label. It is recommended to store them in conditions that include a temperature range of -15°C to +30°C (with no condensation), humidity levels of 85% RH or lower, protection from corrosive gas or sea breeze, absence of visible dust, and no direct exposure to sunlight. Additionally, it is important to avoid applying any loads that may cause deformation or degradation of the product during storage.
