Product Introduction

The electric car laminated busbar is a high-performance current transmission component specially designed for electric vehicles (EV). It is made of multiple layers of conductive materials and has excellent conductive properties and mechanical strength. It is used to connect battery packs, motor controllers, and other key electrical components to ensure efficient and safe transmission of current in electric vehicles. The design of the laminated busbar makes the current distribution more uniform, reduces resistance and heat generation, and improves the overall system efficiency.

material Description

Conductive materials

Laminated busbars mainly use metal materials with high conductivity, such as copper or aluminum. These materials have low resistivity, which effectively reduces energy loss during current transmission.

Insulating materials

In a laminated structure, insulating materials are used to isolate the conductive layers to prevent short circuits. Commonly used insulation materials include high-temperature insulation paper or polymer materials, which have good heat resistance and insulation properties.

Reinforcement material

In order to improve the mechanical strength and stability of the laminated busbar, it is usually wrapped with a layer of reinforcement material, such as fiberglass or polyester film.

Products production

First of all, the manufacturing process of laminated busbar starts with the selection of raw materials. The conductive sheet of a common laminated busbar can be made of copper foil, while the insulating layer is commonly made of polyamide film. In terms of material selection, materials with good electrical conductivity and excellent insulation properties need to be selected according to specific requirements.

Next is the preparation of the conductive sheet. The conductive sheet usually uses a thin copper sheet, which can be cut into the required shape and size through sheet metal processing. During sheet metal processing, attention needs to be paid to the accuracy of cutting and the flatness of the surface to ensure the quality of the conductive sheet.

After preparing the conductive sheet, the surface of the conductive sheet needs to be treated. The purpose of surface treatment is to increase the adhesion between the conductive sheet and the insulating layer. Common surface treatment methods include electroless copper plating, electroplating and spraying. Among them, electroless copper plating is a commonly used method. By coating a layer of copper paste on the surface of the conductive sheet, the adhesion to the insulating layer can be increased.

After completing the preparation of the conductive sheet, the preparation process of the insulating layer begins. The insulating layer usually uses polyamide film, and a lamination process can be used to alternately stack multiple insulating layers and conductive sheets. During the lamination process, conductive sheets and insulating layers need to be stacked in a certain order and adhered together through pressure and temperature. The lamination process can use two methods: hot pressing and cold pressing. The temperature of hot pressing is usually between 150°C and 200°C.

After completing the laminated busbars, subsequent processing processes are required. The first is hole processing. According to the needs of circuit wiring, holes are made in the conductive sheet, which can be processed using drilling machines, CNC milling machines, laser processing, and other equipment. The second step is the bending of conductive plates. The laminated busbars are bent through mechanical equipment to meet the needs of circuit wiring. Then there is spray painting and packaging. The laminated busbars are spray-painted and packaged according to requirements to protect their surfaces and improve the appearance quality of the product.
