Installation And Use Instructions For Automotive Busbar PET Insulation
Dec 03, 2024
Thank you for choosing our new energy vehicle capacitor busbar products. To ensure the best performance and safe operation of the product, please strictly follow the following installation and use instructions.
1. Product introduction.
Automotive busbar are key components used in power systems to connect capacitors and electrical equipment. Their main function is to transmit and distribute current to ensure stable transmission of electrical energy. Our products are made of highly conductive materials and have excellent current carrying capacity, high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. They are particularly suitable for high-power electrical energy management in new energy vehicle power battery systems.
2. Installation instructions.
(1) Confirm specifications and models.
Before installation, please confirm that the selected product specifications match the requirements of the vehicle's electrical system. Pay special attention to the current rating and size of the busbar to ensure that it can adapt to the circuit's workload.
(2) Preparation.
Installation tools: wrenches, screwdrivers, insulating tools, voltage testers, etc.
Installation environment: Ensure that the working environment is dry, clean, and free of corrosive gases to avoid electrical short circuits and safety accidents.
Disconnect the power supply: Before installation, the power supply must be cut off to ensure that no current flows through the electrical system to prevent electric shock or other electrical accidents.
(3) Installation steps.
① Remove the old busbar: If you are replacing an old capacitor busbar, first remove the original busbar to avoid damaging the electrical connection.
② Check the installation location: Clean the installation location to ensure that there is no dust and debris. Check the automotive busbar installation slot or bracket to ensure that it can withstand the required weight and pressure.
③ Install the busbar: Align the EV busbar with the installation location to ensure that the contact surface is clean and firmly connected. Use appropriate screws and bolts to fix the busbar to ensure that the joints are tight and not loose.
④ Connect the capacitor to the busbar: Ensure that the electrical connection terminals of the capacitor are aligned with the contacts of the busbar and use appropriate wires to connect. Ensure that the joints are not loose or short-circuited.
⑤ Check for errors: After installation, check the product's fixing and electrical connections to ensure that there are no loose or poor contacts.
(4) Re-power test.
After installation, reconnect the power supply and perform a power-on test on the capacitor system. Check whether the current transmission between the product and the capacitor is normal and confirm that the installation is correct.
3. Precautions for use.
(1) Current carrying capacity: Ensure that the rated current of the product matches the requirements of the electrical system. Avoid current overload and prevent the busbar from overheating or damage.
(2) Regular inspection: Regularly check the connection status and appearance of the product to ensure that it has not aged, corroded or worn due to long-term use. If any problems are found, replace or repair them in time.
(3) Environmental adaptability: The EV busbar should be installed in an environment with suitable temperature to avoid excessively high or low temperatures affecting its performance. The ideal operating temperature range is -40℃ to +85℃.
(4) Avoid vibration and shock: During installation, avoid the product in an environment with frequent vibration or shock to prevent poor contact or physical damage.
(5) Safe operation: During installation and maintenance, it is necessary to ensure that the operator has the necessary electrical safety knowledge and strictly abides by the relevant safety operation specifications.
4. Troubleshooting.
(1) Busbar overheating: Check whether the current exceeds the rated current value of the product and confirm whether the electrical connection is well tightened. Overheating may be a manifestation of poor contact or overload.
(2) The capacitor system does not work: confirm whether the connection between the capacitor and the product is normal, and check whether the circuit is open or short-circuited.
(3) The busbar is loose or broken: If the product is loose or damaged, please turn off the power immediately and check the installation and fixation, and reinstall or replace the busbar.
5. Maintenance and care.
The maintenance of the capacitor busbar mainly depends on regular inspection and timely replacement. Especially when working in high temperature, humidity or harsh environment, pay more attention to the use of the product.
Regularly check the contact terminals and electrical connections of the EV busbar to ensure that there is no oxidation or corrosion. Clean and re-tighten when necessary.
6. Product safety and environmental protection.
This product complies with international electrical standards to ensure good safety and reliability during use. After use, please dispose of the capacitor busbar in accordance with local environmental regulations.
