China Energy Construction China Power Engineering Co., Ltd. Signed A New Zambia Photovoltaic Power Plant Project Cooperation Agreement

The photovoltaic industry has become one of the most popular renewable energy sources in the energy transition of countries around the world. Recently, Energy China China Power Engineering International Co., Ltd., in cooperation with Northwest Institute, jointly signed a preliminary work agreement for the 33MWdc photovoltaic power generation project in Irut, Zambia, marking that the project has officially entered the survey and preliminary design stage. The project won the bid in November 2022, and personnel will be organized to inspect the project site in March 2023. The project is facing huge challenges due to high mountains and long roads, obstacles, and long roads, but the signing of the early work agreement signifies the owner's affirmation of the company's project development work and provides strong support for the company to realize the rolling development of African projects. In this cooperation, China Energy China Power Engineering International Co., Ltd. has given full play to its leading role as the leader of Energy China's overseas business system and has joined forces with the Northwest Research Institute Consortium to go to sea, showing its advantages.

 

It is worth noting that this is the first renewable energy project in sub-Saharan Africa to be developed with the participation of an independent power purchaser, which has opened up a new idea and model for the development of energy projects in Africa.
