On December 28, the 100MW wind power project in Huma County, Daxinganling, the northernmost wind power project in my country, was successfully connected to the grid, marking a new stage in the construction of the region's first wind power project. According to reports, after the project is connected to the grid at full capacity, it can provide 234 million kWh of green electricity to the power grid each year, saving 77,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 188,000 tons.

The 100MW wind power project in Huma County is located in the south of Huma Town, Daxinganling, Heilongjiang Province. It is the northernmost wind power project in China with the coldest climate conditions. The total investment of the project is 760 million yuan. It will build 20 wind turbines with a single capacity of 5 MW, and will also build a 220kV booster station and an advanced Laminated Bus Bar for Windmill Inverter system. The wind turbine tower is 160 meters high and the blade length is 93 meters. The annual power generation of a single wind turbine can reach 11.5 million kWh. It is specially designed for high-cold environments and has the characteristics of low temperature resistance and anti-icing to ensure stable operation in harsh natural environments.

 

Since the project started in August last year, Huma County has attached great importance to and coordinated the concept of transforming resource advantages and location advantages into new development momentum and new advantages. It has coordinated on-site to solve the difficulties and problems encountered during the construction many times. In view of the fact that the project involves many departments and procedures, a special project promotion work team was established to innovate service methods, simplify procedures, hold centralized approval meetings, and let enterprises and relevant departments meet face to face. The annual average temperature in Huma County is -2℃, the local snow cover period is as long as more than 150 days, and the ice period is as long as 7 months.
