New energy vehicles are divided into hybrid power and pure electric power. Hybrid power is a traditional vehicle plus electrical system, and pure electric power is a fuel cell as the main driving force. The electrical system works between DC high voltage 100V-1500V, and the battery output fault current is large. Overload, overcurrent, short circuit fault and other fault currents, the fuse must be disconnected quickly. If there is reliable protection, fire and explosion will occur, resulting in serious accidents. At present, the design space of automobiles is limited, and huge DC switches cannot be installed. For protection, we can only choose DC fuses with small size, low cost and fast breaking capacity, which are widely used by domestic and foreign automobile companies.
