Basic understanding of Power Distribution Cabinet
Access Control Cabinets are the final equipment of the power distribution system, mainly divided into optical distribution cabinet (boxes), lighting distribution cabinets (boxes), and metering cabinets (boxes), and are also a general term for motor control centers. Its core function is to distribute the electrical energy of the higher-level distribution equipment to nearby loads, while providing protection, monitoring, and control for the loads to ensure the stable operation of the power system. According to the differences in usage scenarios, the division of labor between Climate Controlled Cabinet and motor control center is different. The former is suitable for scenarios with dispersed loads and fewer circuits, while the latter is used for scenarios with concentrated loads and more circuits. Together, they form an important component of the power distribution system.

Power Distribution Cabinet Classification and Common Type Selection
Electrical Control Cabinet can be divided into three levels according to the distribution hierarchy. The first level distribution equipment is called the power distribution center, which is centrally installed in the enterprise substation, adjacent to the step-down transformer. It has high electrical parameter requirements and large output circuit capacity, and is responsible for distributing electrical energy to lower level distribution equipment; The secondary distribution equipment, namely the distribution cabinet and the motor control center, bears the core responsibilities of energy distribution and load protection; The final power distribution equipment is a lighting power distribution box, located far from the power supply center, and belongs to dispersed small capacity distribution equipment. The commonly used low-voltage Industrial Control Cabinets mainly include GGD, GCK, GCS, MNS, etc. Among them, GGD is a fixed switch cabinet, while GCK, GCS, MNS are drawer type switch cabinets. Both have their own advantages and disadvantages: drawer type switch cabinets occupy less space, are easy to maintain, have more outgoing lines but are more expensive, while fixed type switch cabinets have fewer outgoing circuits and occupy a larger area. They can be flexibly selected according to the size of the site and usage needs.

Installation and Operation Specification for High Distribution Cabinet
The installation of Industrial Electrical Cabinets must follow strict specifications, and the cabinets should be made of non combustible materials. The corresponding protection type should be selected according to the working environment. Enclosed cabinets should be installed in places with high electric shock hazards and poor working environments. In hazardous areas with conductive dust or flammable and explosive gases, enclosed or explosion-proof facilities should be used. During installation, the cabinets should be arranged neatly and firmly fixed. The bottom surface of the floor mounted cabinet should be 5-10mm above the ground. The center height of the operating handle should be controlled at 1.2-1.5m, and there should be no obstacles within 0.8-1.2m in front. The protective wire connection should be reliable and there should be no exposed bare live parts. During operation, it is necessary to ensure that the electrical components and circuits of the Dry Cabinet with Temperature Control are in good contact, without serious heating or burning. The cabinet door lock should be kept by a dedicated person and regularly cleaned and maintained to ensure that the equipment is in good working condition.
Supporting technology and operating procedures
The modern Fiber Optic Distribution Cabinet has been upgraded to intelligence. The intelligent integrated distribution cabinet integrates advanced technology, which can monitor the current of each output branch in real time, set abnormal warning values, and avoid overload and power outage risks. It is also equipped with a large LCD touch screen to comprehensively monitor power quality such as voltage, current, frequency, etc. It can also be equipped with ATS, lightning protection, UPS maintenance switches and other functions according to needs, suitable for high-end scenarios such as data centers. The operation of Fiber Optic Cabinets must strictly follow the regulations, including the standard procedures for starting the generator set, closing the switch for power transmission, parallel operation, shutdown, and swapping shore power. It is strictly prohibited for unrelated personnel to operate the switch. When operating, the turbine personnel must concentrate their thoughts to avoid accidents. In addition, the secondary wiring of the distribution cabinet needs to be constructed according to the diagram, with clear standards for selecting wire cross-sections to ensure correct and neat wiring. The secondary winding of the current transformer is not allowed to be open circuited, and the secondary side of the voltage transformer is not allowed to be short circuited.
