Pyrofuse is a new application for use in battery systems.It comes from the detonation method of automobile airbag, which inflates the airbag by means of gunpowder explosion.Pyrofuse uses this method of detonation to break copper bar connections, acting as fuses or relays.

When Pyrofuse is cut off with load, the fuse is immediately broken. In this process, the arc is generated in the fuse, so the arc is borne by the fuse.
