1GWh! Trina Solar And Power Electronics Plan To Jointly Deploy Battery Energy Storage System in 2023
May 24, 2022
According to foreign media reports, Trina Solar Energy Storage and solar inverter manufacturer Power Electronics intend to form a partnership to jointly deploy battery storage.
According to Trina Solar a few days ago, it will deploy more than 1GWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) devices, and the energy storage products will integrate PCSK inverters from Power Electronics by the end of 2023.

The two parties jointly signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to jointly exhibit at the Intersolar Europe exhibition in Germany in 2022.
At the event, Trina Solar showcased its grid-scale BESS solution Elementa and officially launched it to the continental European market, which is currently used in the 50MW BESS project successfully commissioned in Cambridgeshire, UK.

The company said the energy storage system is coming soon in the United States.
Elementa is a fully integrated modular solution designed for easy plug-and-play installation. It features a standardized design with Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery cells and liquid cooling technology.
