PET is a thermoplastic polyester resin, officially known as polyethylene terephthalate, typically a milky white or light yellow crystalline polymer. Due to its excellent physical, mechanical, and electrical insulation properties, PET is widely used in electronics, new energy vehicles, battery connection systems, and industrial insulation. In the modern new energy vehicle industry chain, PET insulation materials are tightly integrated with various busbar structures, especially in the field of automotive busbar PET insulation, where it has significant application value.

PET features a smooth surface, high gloss, strong wear resistance, and good dimensional stability, while also possessing high hardness and low frictional loss. One important application of PET materials is film manufacturing.
